Dear DIHNET community
We are excited to bring you news from agrROBOfood, I4MS4TS, TRINITY, Change2Twin, DigiPLACE and Smart Anything Everywhere initiatives for this month. There is no doubt October is going to be terrific!
Change2Twin is an Innovation Action in Horizon 2020 addressing digital twin technology for manufacturing SMEs and slightly bigger companies. The project includes 2 Open Calls that will be launched to fund a total of 21 application experiments with up to 90KEUR each. Prior to these Open Calls, companies could apply for a 10K€ voucher (49 vouchers available) which they can spend to get an assessment of their potential for digital twinning by a certified DIH.
DIHs play a key role in finding and encouraging companies to apply for one of the digital twin experiments to be funded by Change2Twin. To prepare DIHs for this role, Change2Twin will train and certify a limited number of DIHs in the Change2Twin methodology. Find out more here.
The agROBOfood Digital Week took place from the 28 September to the 2 October. During five days agrOBOfood partners shared the lessons learnt during the first year of the project, how they made their ecosystem grow, the services available to stakeholders, the development of the Innovation Experiments, important outcomes from their Regional Clusters, among other topics. If you are interested in robotics Digital Innovation Hubs in the agriculture and food sectors you can find the videos and presentations of agrOBOfood Digital Week here.
I4MS4TS is looking for 3 high-profiled experts in manufacturing in Europe for expanding their current ecosystem. Know more about how to become an I4MS ambassador and how to join their programme here.
In case you missed the DigiPLACE webinar ‘Are architects ready for digitalisation?‘ you can watch the recording of the session here.
TRINITY DIH has launched this month its webinar series on ‘Robotics for Industry 4.0’. The project will present in 4 webinars the 19 innovative robotics demonstrators which received funding under the first TRINITY open call. The demonstrators are currently being implemented by pan-European consortia of SMEs, to support and boost agile manufacturing. Check the agenda and register for the webinars here.
The Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative will have a session about its vision, opportunities, and success stories at this year’s virtual HiPEAC Computing Systems Week.
Learn more about SAE in this 2-hour session on Thursday, 15th October from 14:00 to 16:00h. You will find information about the agenda and registration here.
Have a fantastic week!
