Open Call for developing DIHs to join the BOWI network and take part in cross-border technology and service transfer programme. Nine developing DIHs will be selected to take part in BOWI support programme and get up to 100.000€ of funding each. The application deadline is the 1st of March 2021. Join the Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) Initiative virtually on March 11th for the Innovation Forum Smarte Technologien & Systeme. This German online event will provide you with the latest developments in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Additive Manufacturing techniques, Sensing, Open Innovation and Smart Production. RIMA has launched its 2nd Open Call with aim of supporting the development and deployment of robotics’ applications in the field of Inspection and Maintenance with the Robotics Innovation Experiment (RIE) grants. RIE applicants may receive up to 150.000€ per consortium (for the duration of 14 months). The deadline for applying is the 17th of March 2021. See here for more information.
PULSATE’s 1st open call for Technology Transfers Experiments has launched! The project is looking for Laser-based Additive and Advanced Manufacturing (LBAAM) innovators and adopters that will partner in the experiments that will be supported with technical expertise, business mentoring, and up to 150.000€ in grant. You can apply for the open call here by the 22nd of April.
In the European Commission’s report of the ”Study on the Development of a European Union Framework for Buildings’ Digital Logbook” DigiPLACE is one of six relevant Horizon 2020 projects analysed. Know more about the project and the report here.
Are you working on arc-welding innovations? EU project WeldGalaxy has launched this week its 2nd Open Call to support 15 SMEs or Midcaps to take their technology to the next level with funding (up to 100.000€). Technical support will be provided by TWI and Business mentoring will be led by FundingBox. Apply by 29th of April here.
RODIN (Robotics Digital Innovation Network) consortium members were on stage presenting and moderating sessions at the EDIH conference. Take a look to the list of sessions and a short summary of topics here.
The CloudiFacturing project, and its successor DIGITbrain, held a talk about best practices for disseminating HPC at the EDIH conference 2021. The presentation was a great success and eagerly discussed in a follow-up interactive panel illustrated with real examples from the two projects on how DIHs can support the dissemination of HPC technologies, explaining how the HPC landscape is structured. I4Ms initiative is organising a series of talks around the field of manufacturing and Industry 4.0. The first talk “Industry 4.0 & the integrated environment” starts on 24th of February. Followed by one on the 26th about “Tools and services supporting digital innovation of manufacturing SMEs” and a third one on “The digital transformation of the employment in manufacturing” next month. In preparation for the first open call, Change2Twin trained 38 Digital Innovation Hubs from 15 countries. The DIHs are key players in Change2Twin funding scheme, providing SMEs with a thorough analysis of their digitalization potential, including a complete recipe for the deployment of digital twin. Change2Twin will fund up to 25 such projects in the first open call. Find more information here.
Clock is ticking towards the deadline of the 1st SMART4ALL’s open call on cross-border Pathfinder Application Experiments (PAEs). Within this type of experiments, 3 different entities are involved from at least two different eligible countries. One Academic/Industrial Technology Provider transfers a novel technology to one Industrial Technology Receiving partner as an early-adopter and then one Industrial productization partner extends the value chain. The partners shall apply together as a consortium through a simple application form here. The budget granted is up to 80.000€.
