Change2Twin 1st Voucher Open Call preliminary results

Change2Twin first Assessment Voucher open call has just been closed, and its results will be published after the evaluation period. This call offers a lump sum up to 10 000€, so the selected companies can get a detailed digitisation assessment and three recipes to implement digital twinning technologies. ECSO’s Cyber Investor Days 2021

The 9th edition of the ECSO’s Cyber Investor Days will take place on 15-16 June in Porto and is organised together with the National Cybersecurity Centre of Portugal (CNCS), ScaleUp Porto, Bright Pixel, Maxive and S21sec. They have joined forces to support the growth of European cybersecurity start-ups and SMEs by providing them access-to-market and access-to-finance opportunities. This edition focuses on the growth stage companies and they are encouraged to apply. Find more information on the event here.

Smart Anything Everywhere: 10 Open Calls from SAE Innovation Actions are offering funding!

EUHubs4Data New Open Call: all DIHs gather now!

EUHubs4Data has just launched an open call to select new DIHs to be the part of the federation of Data Driven Innovation Hubs! The project is allocating 1.080.000€ as financial support to the new DIHs in different activities. This call includes the BDVA i-Spaces call for labels 2021 as the way to assess the quality and relevance of candidates. From this list, EUHubs4Data will select the 18 DIHs with the highest rank and located within regions not currently covered by the federation to be part of the project receiving financial support. RI4EU looks back at ERF2021

Gateway to EU Robotics Initiatives organised two sessions at the European Robotics Forum (ERF). The success stories session was about experiences of companies that got funded, followed by an interesting Q&A session. The second session, FSTP funding and brokerage, informed the audience about upcoming funding, events, and other services and provided a discussion platform to better understand the offers in the different areas. L4MS Success Story: Remarkable improvements of production capacity – A heavy mould turned into an AGV

The L4MS experiment offered Trygons an opportunity to find out how to benefit from using an AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) to automate the moving of moulds. Trygons designs and manufactures large and complex parts from reinforced plastics outside of Athens, Greece. Its 4000-square-meter manufacturing facilities also allow cost-effective mass production. Despite using, and developing, advanced manufacturing technologies, Trygons relies heavily on manual work when it comes to intra-factory logistics. Read the full story here.

VOJEXT 1st Open Call: Challenge

VOJEXT (Value Of Joint EXperimentation in digital Technologies for manufacturing and construction) is looking for innovators (SMEs and Mid-Caps) in Cognitive autonomous systems for human-robot interaction, specially “cobots” covering traditional and non-traditional areas for AI- robotics and cognitive ICT developments. Funding of up to €100K is available to SMEs, which can solve 1 of 5 tech challenges. Apply before 30 April! Full information about the open calls available here.

WeldGalaxy 2nd Open Call Webinar – Final Countdown: Q&A and Tips

The clock is ticking and the deadline of the WeldGalaxy second open call is approaching where the champion pilots will benefit from up to 100.000€ of funding and take part in a 6-month support programme that includes tech support from The Welding Institute (TWI). Beneficiaries will also get access to the WeldGalaxy platform that will bring together global buyers and European sellers of welding equipment and consumables! RAIC 2021 – Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Conference for Cross-sectoral Innovation

The Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Conference (RAIC) takes place on 8-9 June 2001 arranged by DigitalNorway and SINTEF with support from Innovation Norway and the Research Council of Norway – focusing on cross-sectoral innovation. The conference will focus on Production, Inspection and Maintenance and Agro-Food, including Aquaculture & Healthcare.
