We are arriving to the end of DIHNET’s lifetime as an EU-funded project, and this is our last news bulletin of EU-funded DIH related initiatives.  We would like to take the opportunity to invite you to share your vision on the future of the EU Digital Innovation Hub ecosystem and celebrate with us the main project highlights in our DIHNET final event on the 26th October.   • KITT4SME report 2021: Artificial Intelligence adoption in European Small Medium Enterprises

In the first months of the KITT4SME project, SUPSI, WUT and Ginkgo Analytics collaborate to realise the KITT4SME report 2021. This report includes: a sum-up of a methodology to assess AI readiness and maturity level in SMEs; the results obtained through a survey investigating AI adoption that involved 36 European manufacturing companies; a set of guidelines supporting AI adoption in SMEs.   • PULSATE is looking for SMEs interested in adoption of LBAAM technology

Do you know the benefits of Laser-Based Advanced and Additive Manufacturing (LBAAM) technologies? Would you like to improve your manufacturing processes thanks to it? In the first quarter of 2022, the project PULSATE will launch an Adopters Open Call to apply for a unique support program to help SMEs develop a custom exploitation plan for innovative LBAAM solutions to be adopted in their current manufacturing processes.   • agROBOfood announces the winners of the 2nd Open Call for Innovation Experiments.

The aim of agROBOfood Innovation Experiments is to directly support the digital transformation of agrifood companies that have not taken full advantage of robotics technologies yet, they will not involve any research and development activities, but will rather focus on innovations that demonstrate the technologies usefulness for and from the end-user’s perspective by showcasing and demonstrating activities (e.g. use-cases), while will also utilize technology, ecosystem and business services and custom trainings.   • Change2Twin is funding digital twin solutions with up to €90k

Last call for manufacturing SMEs and midcaps that want to deploy their digital twin solution with the help of Change2Twin! Change2Twin is looking for manufacturing SMEs and mid-caps that want to improve their competitiveness by implementing Digital Twinning Technology. Their support programme, encapsulating funding & technical mentorship, will help you in overcoming that challenge.   • 10th Cyber Investor Days (in-person event)

European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) together with Business Finland, VTT Technical Research Centre, NewCo Helsinki and Maria 01 have the pleasure of inviting you to the 10th edition of the Cyber Investor Days, scheduled on 1-2 December 2021 in Helsinki, Finland. The most promising European cybersecurity start-ups and SMEs will have a chance to pitch their innovative cybersecurity solutions and hold B2B meetings with the leading investors and corporates from Europe and beyond.   • LAMpAs and PULSATE Webinar on Laser-based Solutions for Manufacturing

LAMpAS and PULSATE team up to organise a meeting specifically for all interested in laser-based surface structuring as main technology in LAMpAS and one of the driving technologies in PULSATE. Join to hear about the possibilities for laser-based surface functionalisation even if you don’t have experience with this technology yet, but you would like to implement it or improve it for your specific application.
