Applications for DIHNET’s 1st open call for tech transfer and funding was closed on 15th of September, 2020. In total 79 applications were submitted in different areas of technology with AI being the top choice for the applicants.
Applicants located in specific regions of Norway, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania an Bulgaria could apply for this call. The most active region was Bulgaria’s Yugozapaden with 21 submitted applications and Romania’s Nord Vest region and its 17 applications following close by. The least active applicants were in Norway’s Trøndelag from which only 5 applications were submitted.
The evaluation committee is assessing the applications and results will be announced in November. Chosen applicants will participate in 10 month long technology transfer experiments with the support of DIHNET digital innovation hubs. In addition, the applicants will receive up to € 60 000 of funding per experiment, and business mentoring.
